Arthur "Turk" Taylor

This Scholarship Golf Outing is played in honor of our late and beloved Brother Arthur “Turk” Taylor who through his life of service inspired youth in Dayton, Ohio to excel in the classroom as well as to play golf and he did so for decades. Brother Taylor was an elementary school teacher, school administrator, avid golfer and golf instructor, he was an integral supporter of the Greater Dayton Youth Golf Academy. In addition, he was a life member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., he attended meetings and events of the local Delta Alpha Chapter. In 2023, Delta Alpha Chapter is attempting to exceed its $16,000 scholarship goal. Since the beginning of the annual golf outing, Delta Alpha Chapter has provided over $605,000 in college and university scholarships. Please support The Delta Alpha Chapter of Omega Psi Phi in its effort to lift up the Montgomery County area by raising scholarship funds for deserving area students.
